Hill Reappointed For Another 2 Years at Norwood

Norwood Football Club has announced that Trevor Hill will remain as the senior coach for 2008 - 2009.

"Trevor remains the best person to lead the current group of players over the next two years", Football Operations Manager Jamie Mason said.

"The football department understands the need for stability in its coaching structure, and we know that success will not come without hard work and a degree of patience from all stakeholders of the Norwood Football Club", Mason said this morning.

"Trevor is a very comfortable fit with our club. His work with our playing group during the past two years has been outstanding. We believe in his coaching methods and ability to communicate a style of play to our players" Mason said.

"We are very happy with the coaching style and football philosophy that Trevor has bought to our club," Football Director Ian Stasinowsky said.

"With our off field performance set to deliver financial security to the Norwood Football Club, we were very keen to secure Trevor for a further two years, with a view to maintaining stability in our Football Operations", Stasinowsky said.

Hill said he was looking forward to continue the challenge of working with the players to deliver to all Norwood supporters a side that is equipped to play successful finals football.

"During the previous two years we have faced some difficult times, and this group is beginning to understand the demands of senior SANFL football." he said.

"I believe that the coaching group have identified the players who are capable of taking this club forward and I am very confident of our on field future", Hill said.

"With the exciting off field developments during 2007 everyone at Norwood has real belief in the future of our proud club", Hill said.

"I fully appreciate the honour and responsibility that comes with this reappointment" he added.

Hill has signed to coach the Redlegs for a further two years. He played 210 games of league football and four state games in a career which included a best and fairest at the North Adelaide Football Club.

Hill is a life member at the SANFL .
