The club is pleased to announce that Fairmont Homes and the Pickard Family have again signed as the Norwood Football Club Major Sponsor in 2008. Having joined AGC, Vili’s and Coopers two years agao as one of only four companies that have been the clubs Major Sponsor, Fairmont Homes has committed for 2008 and is happy to consider continuing in the future.

The increased financial commitment will ensure the club maximizes it sponsorship opportunities over the next 12 months. Managing Director David Pickard has made this commitment to assist the club with building stronger football teams and improving a number of its match day operations.

Despite claims that sponsors where leaving the club and although membership was down in 2007 the club is pleased to confirm that every one of its current sponsors have so far committed to the club in 2008. It has also been able to grow its sponsorship revenue with interest from a number of parties wanting to be a part of a resurgent Norwood.

The club will now spend the summer months growing its membership and aims to return it to above the 2500 member level. The advanced position in sponsorship and membership will also allow for a greater effort to be made with the other traditional football stream – fundraising!
