After a vigorous open tender process the club is proud to announce that a contract has been signed for the sale of the property at 137 The Parade. The club has been successful in entering a contract that is planned to provide the club with the capacity to further develop its member facilities as well as a great result for The Parade.

Club President Mr Joe Tripodi said "The board of the club believes that a very satisfactory result has been achieved and we are grateful to everyone's support including our supporters, the council and the prior Norwood Community Club Members during the period of our ownership."

The new owner has committed to a price that is beneficial to both parties and intends to make the building a further benefit to The Parade Shopping Precinct. The new owner has stated that the building will not become a nightclub and that there is genuine interest from retailers to be part of a boutique female retail outlet with an emphasis on improving The Parade for shopping much like Unley Road.
