Another year comes to an end and I think that everybody is looking forward to a break.

My thanks to everyone who has been involved this year. When we return there will be plenty happening. The office will reopen on Jan 4 and pre season will resume that same day. The lights will begin in earnest and baseball will be at the ground on Jan 15 and 16 and maybe even a final will be played.

The AGM will be held on Tuesday February 9 at the Osmond Terrace Function Centre on the corner of The Parade and Osmond Terrace. All members are welcome and advised that three positions will be made available on the board. Keith Thomas, Ben Seekamp and Grant Dalwood will renominate for these positions and look to continue their work on the board.

The club is holding a Golf Day in February and we are currently working on a new concept for the Guernsey Presentation in March. Then the real business begins with our first match against Glenelg at Glenelg on March 27 and our first home match against South Adelaide on Easter Thursday night.

Again my thanks to everyone for their involvement in 2009 and I look forward to seeing everyone as part of a vibrant and successful Norwood Football Club in 2010.

I wish all Norwood supporters a Merry Xmas and a safe and happy New Year.
